On August 22 - 2018, Hengst have signed a binding agreement of acquiring DELBAG, a German Filter manufacturer with 150 employees.
This initiative follows the acquisition of Nordic Air Filtration back in February 2016. Since then, Nordic Air Filtration operations has been established in China and America, giving Nordic Air Filtration a global footprint.
At Hengst, the rational goal behind acquiring DELBAG is to further strengthen our position within the segment industrial filtration and hereby continue our journey by offering our national and global customers a wider and more complete range of products. DELBAG offers a wide range of products, mainly HVAC and HEPA filters - the product range contains more than 2.000 products.
In addition to HVAC and HEPA filters, DELBAG has a long history and technical experience in offering smaller unique filter systems. These systems are commonly used in applications for buildings, air conditioning, ventilation, industrial manufacturing, medical and life science, automotive manufacturing and compressors and power generation.
DELBAG's products and solutions complement perfectly the products already available at Nordic Air Filtration, where our aim is to carefully evaluate how DELBAG´s product offering will fit into our current strategy. This will help us to continue being a global loyal independent filter manufacturer within the segment of industrial filtration.
The legal transfer of ownership is planned for the following months.
We are delighted about the opportunity to significantly expand our industrial filtration business unit. Soon all our customers will be introduced to a much wider range of products by DELBAG, Nordic Air Filtration, and Hengst.
