Benny Clausen was employed at Nordic Air Filtration in 2002, and for almost 17 years, he managed the Shipping Department, with a very calm attitude, and a great overview of the very often hectic days.
The shipping department is in many cases the company’s face, dealing with customers, carriers, and suppliers. Benny’s experience, attitude, and routine was always a great benefit to both Nordic Air Filtration and the colleagues, getting many times positive reviews about our Shipping Department.
Starting with today, John Larsen together with Annette Wallin will be responsible for the tasks within the shipping department, this time without Benny’s assistance, which we are sure it will go well but Benny will definitely be missed.
“It was a great time that gave me a lot of knowledge and experience along the years. When I think back, I must admit that I am still surprised that we meet daily with so many different people from all over the world and we deal with so many countries. I remember Jørgen Poulsen once said as we were here in the office “try to listen “ – most people in the office were talking at the phone, and we could hear English, German, Danish, Russian, all at the same time.
It has been 17 busy years, but I have enjoyed almost every day, never felt sorry to go to work, as days were never the same. It was fun to see Nordic growing 3 times, and I am happy that together with my colleagues were a part of it.
I retire from Nordic while I still feel happy with my work and can think back to a very good time with many nice colleagues. I do have a lot of work to do home, plans that I pushed for later in the last 5 years.
I will, of course, miss my colleagues and maybe also sometimes to go to work, to feel the rush when things are busy but you succeed with the good planning.
